This is a Sweet Vintage Clear Glass Pony Figurine by Paden Glassa beautiful Paden City for Barth Arts Glass Horse Sculpture. Paden City Manufacturing created some of the most interesting and talked about glassware in this country, and is held in great regard by glass collectors today.Paden City Glass Company routinely did private mold work privately commissioned for other companies. Paden City was involved in the production of solid glass animals, including the horse, resulted in a private mold work arrangement with Barth Art, founded by Harry G Barth. These rare solid glass animals are listed on page 169 of “Glass Animals of the Depression Era” by Lee Garmon and Dick Spencer. The glass horse is in excellent gently used condition. The glass is crystal clear with no chips or scratches.
