This McCoy planter was made the 1940s, which we know from the hallmark of the overlapping N and M of Nelson McCoy Pottery. The piece came from the Lily Bud line, which came in all sorts of style from vases to ashtrays, as well as different colors. This particular piece came to me with a large lot of McCoy pottery. It has some bubbles that were created during production, mostly on the interior. Some crazing also on the glaze, but no cracks or chips. Measures 8-1/2" across by 5-1/4" deep and 3" tall. Weighs about 1.5 pounds unpacked.A popular piece for the collector of McCoy.
