WWI British M1917 Steel Helmet Numbered FKS -37Up for sale is this original WW1 Painted Doughboy Helmet. Hand painted white oval on the top of the helmet.Stamped with what looks to be FKS37. Very good condition for being over 100 years old.Helmet was designed and made in Britain by John Brodie around 1915. Unfortunately this helmet is missing the liner and the leather chin strap.Typical dents and handling marks - chin strap is not present. Please view pictures for quality and condition.
