This George F. Cram 12-Inch Unrivaled Table Globe dates to approximately the 1930s and was manufactured in Chicago by the George F. Cram Company, a well-known American map and globe maker.

The globe features a classic 12-inch terrestrial globe mounted in a substantial cast iron meridian-style frame with a wooden table base. At approximately 17 inches tall, it makes an impressive display piece for a library, office, study, classroom, or vintage-inspired home.

The globe has lovely age-related character, including areas of finish loss and wear to the globe surface consistent with its age and use. The globe does not spin easily and may require adjustment or restoration if the buyer wishes to make it fully functional. It is being offered as found and would also make a fantastic decorative or collector’s piece.

Please review all photographs carefully. The globe shows finish loss, surface wear, and age-related imperfections. It does not spin easily. The wooden base and cast iron frame also show signs of age and use. These imperfections are part of the character of an approximately 90-year-old globe.
