A gorgeous antique antique Hand Painted white satin Cracker Biscuit Jar by Van Bergh and from the 1920s.
Features a satin white jar that is Forbes with n tray if hand painted flowers.
The jar stands 6 1/4” high without the cover and it measures about 8 1/8” with cover on, not including the handle. The opening is 3 1/2” in diameter.
The jar is from the early 1900’s and it has a silver plate frame and top.
These were used at the tea table for cookies and sweet crackers.
It is in very good antique condition. There are no scratches, but has some gentle scuffs. The jar is marked under the lid. It is hard to read “The Van Bergh S P Co Silver Plated Quadruple Made in USA Rochester NY”.
The silver plate is tarnished and could use a good polishing. Ben g sold as found.
