Cord appears to be original to the lamp.  There are no cracks, split or frayed wires but we recommend having it replaced due to its age.\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eLamp body is in good vintage condition for being approximately 60 years old.\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eThere are no chips or cracks to the ceramic portion.  The brass also shows signs of patina and tarnish.  We have not tried to clean.  Selling as found.\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eListing is for lamp only.
